PConPoint is a program that repairs your Windows registry and fixes errors. By using this program, you will be able to scan your PC for corrupt files, missing startup programs, missing system fonts, invalid shortcuts, missing dll files, invalid application paths, invalid device drivers and other problems that may cause your system to become unstable.
The main menu of the program will allow you to trigger the complete scan of your system. After launching it, the program will take several minutes to check each one of the points that can cause problems. After that, it will inform you about the number of errors found, and will offer you to fix them. If you´re running the trial version, though, the program will only fix a small percentage of the found issues. You will need to register PConPoint in order to get it to fix all the problems. Through the Preferences menu you can set the program to run with every Windows startup and the check and backup preferences. The backup section will allow to view a list of the backup you´ve made after fixing things, and will enable you to restore the system to a previous state. |
